Differences and similaritiesJapanese Tsunami 2011 and Phuket TsunamiBoth of the tsunami's where horrific events that changed the countries affected ever since the natural disaster occurred. Some of those effected by both disasters are still left homeless, relying on donations and support from projects and organisations. As Japan's government had more money, it was easier for them to rebuild homes and donate to those in need. However, it was still extremely difficult to rebuild homes of those who's were destroyed and recreate community centres without any support. The 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami caused major affects on the 14 countries involved and those effected found it harder to cope with the damage as a lot of the money spent on rebuilding and recreating was used from donations and financial support given by other governments and associations.
